Chapter or Book?

Rules that bind;
intertwined;
chaos undefined;
a world without mind.
Burdensome weight,
far too great,
escaping before too late,
following God’s fate.
Weary as I fly,
tears flow as I ask why;
for those loved lost I cry.
Unbreakable bonds that tie.
Sand with salty water between toes.
Unknown results from a life you chose.
I search, but until the end no one really knows.
Is it the chapter or the book I now close?
